Senior Property Officer Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Property Officer to join our team.
Job Description:
The Senior Property Officer will be responsible for administering the Leases and Licences functions for City owned and leased properties. This will involve participating in the implementation of the City's Property Strategy, administering expressions of interest and permits for the commercial use of City property, and providing advice on property matters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer Leases and Licences functions for City owned and leased properties
* Participate in the implementation of the City's Property Strategy
* Administer expressions of interest and permits for the commercial use of City property
* Provide advice on property matters
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A tertiary qualification or diploma in property development, property management, commerce or law or related fields
* More than five years' experience in a similar role in Local, State or Federal government or in commercial property management
* Extensive experience in the provision of advice and policy development within a public sector environment
* Ability to interpret, understand and explain legal issues relevant to land management issues, town planning matters and property leases/licences
