What does the job look like?
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a critical planning role within our Government & Defence team. As the Warehouse & Distribution Specialist Planner, you'll be responsible for managing the flow of goods, ensuring stock levels are optimised and products are ready to support dependencies. Key areas:
* Management, investigation, analysis and resolution of operational and system issues
* Ensure all inventory is received and dispatched in line with contractual obligations and KPI requirements.
* Providing continuous improvement of processes with focus on controls, revenue assurance and deficiencies identified by the commonwealth and other key stakeholders
* Ensure management controls are in place including auditing of site operational and system processes
* Develop, coordinate and implement plans that will lead to improvement in W&D functions.
* Work closely with Management to build a strong understanding of operations and customer needs
Are you the one?
With experience across transport, supply chain or warehouse operations, you're able to analyse data, manage complex inventory workflows and collaborate with a range of stakeholders. You also bring a proactive, innovative and solutions‐focused work style. You can demonstrate:
* 3+ years' experience in a similar role
* 5+ years' experience in transport or supply chainKnowledge of SAP TM / EM / ERP modules
* Strong understanding of OH&S and Chain of Responsibility
* High computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office
* Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and deliver accurate outcomes
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
