The Opportunity
Join a high growth fintech that's redefining business lending in Australia. With over a decade of experience solving complex credit challenges for SMEs, this business is continuing to scale and looking for a Credit Manager to help shape the future of their small to mid-market lending.
You'll assess and structure credit for small to mid-sized businesses, focused on commercial transactions such as cashflow lending and asset finance. Partnering closely with the sales and relationship teams, you'll play a key role in delivering smart, tech‑driven credit decisions that balance risk, commerciality, and speed.
What You'll Do
* Conduct end‑to‑end credit assessments using financial statements, bank data, and alternative sources.
* Partner with Relationship Managers and Brokers to structure tailored funding solutions.
* Analyse financial and non‑financial risk to make informed, timely lending decisions.
* Maintain accuracy and compliance across systems and documentation.
* Support ongoing portfolio management and periodic reviews of existing clients.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline processes and strengthen risk outcomes.
What You'll Bring
* Proven background in commercial credit analysis or credit management, ideally with DLA.
* Strong understanding of cashflow lending, asset finance, and SME credit is essential.
* Ability to make balanced, pragmatic decisions in a fast‑moving environment.
* A confident communicator who can work collaboratively across teams.
