Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
* Lead daily front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service across bar, restaurant, and events.
* Oversee floor setup, reservations, guest experience, and problem resolution.
* Ensure compliance with RSA, food safety, and workplace health and safety requirements.
* Liaise with the kitchen team to deliver smooth service and uphold menu standards.
Team Leadership & Training
* Recruit, train, and roster front-of-house staff.
* Lead by example on the floor
* Deliver ongoing staff training sessions on service standards, menu knowledge, and customer care.
* Foster a positive team culture with accountability and development pathways.
Financial & Administrative Duties
* Monitor daily sales, takings, and expenses against budget.
* Assist in stock control, including weekly stocktakes and supplier ordering (wine, spirits, and consumables).
* Track payroll costs, submit rosters, and ensure adherence to labour budgets.
* Provide weekly operational and financial reports to the General Manager.
Customer & Community Engagement
* Build strong relationships with regular guests and local community.
* Handle guest feedback with professionalism, turning challenges into positive outcomes.
* Support marketing initiatives and special events to drive sales and visibility.

Requirements
* Minimum 3 years in a supervisory/management role within hospitality.
* RSA certification (Queensland).
* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
