WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
This role offers the opportunity to work 9 months based in Mount Barker and 3 months with an inpatient medical team at the Women's and Children's Hospital. This will enable the applicant to develop advanced paediatric clinical skills across a broad range of inpatient, outpatient, neonatal and emergency care settings. The role will predominantly include supporting paediatric outpatient clinics. You will also participate in inpatient paediatric care, neonatal on call and care for patients 36 weeks and above, outreach outpatients, and some shifts in the Emergency Department preferentially seeing paediatric patients. There will be a strong education component of the role with protected time each week.

Mount Barker (based for 9 months) is a fast-growing regional centre in the Adelaide Hills, known for its natural beauty, strong community, and modern amenities.
The Women's and Children's Hospital (based for 3 months) in Adelaide is South Australia's premier specialist facility dedicated to providing emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care for women, babies, and children. It is highly regarded for its world-class, expert care in obstetrics and paediatrics, acting as the state's leading teaching hospital and a centre for innovative research. You will be working within the Department of General Medicine supporting the care of inpatient and outpatient paediatric patients.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
* Medical Practitioner within ACRRM/RACGP seeking to complete an Advanced Training year in Paediatrics.
* Strong interest in delivering high-quality paediatric and neonatal care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
* Committed to continuous quality improvement and ongoing professional education.
* Experienced in multidisciplinary teamwork and value collaborative, supervised practice.
