Job Role:
As a geotechnical expert, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our core values of safety, teamwork, accountability, respect and results. Your responsibilities will include the safe management and delivery of all geotechnical requirements within your team.
This includes providing expert advice for underground mining areas, initiating and delivering geotechnical improvement projects, and collaborating with technical teams to design mine levels and stope extraction plans.
You will work closely with engineers to ensure that geotechnical solutions are implemented effectively and efficiently.
Key skills and qualifications for this role include:
* Tertiary qualifications in geotechnical engineering (or equivalent)
* Current C Class Western Australian Driver's Licence
* Experience with mine design software - Deswik
* Experience with seismic monitoring systems - IMS
* Underground geotechnical experience in a mechanised hard-rock underground mine
