Civil Construction Supervisor – FIFO Opportunity | Regional QLD
ALIGA Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor for an immediate-start FIFO opportunity supporting major road infrastructure and stabilisation works across regional Queensland. This role will initially focus on project establishment, planning, mobilisation and preliminary activities, with construction works expected to ramp up over the coming weeks. The successful candidate will work closely with project delivery teams, contractors and stakeholders to help deliver critical transport infrastructure projects safely and efficiently.
The Opportunity
* Road stabilisation and pavement works
* Road upgrades and intersection improvements
* Bridge and civil infrastructure works
* Disaster recovery and emergency response works
You will play a key role in:
* Supervising crews, subcontractors and plant operations
* Coordinating preliminary and construction activities
* Managing safety, quality and programme outcomes
* Procurement and site coordination
* Monitoring project progress, risks and costs
* Supporting contract administration activities including RFIs, EOTs, variations and progress claims
* Liaising with project managers, delivery teams and stakeholders
Position Details
* Immediate start
* Duration: Approx. 2–4 weeks initially, with potential ongoing opportunities
* FIFO / Regional Queensland
* 5/2 roster
* Approx. 105 hours per fortnight
* Flights, accommodation and vehicle provided
* ABN engagement
* Approx. $105/hr + GST (depending on experience)
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* Experience supervising civil road construction or stabilisation projects
* Strong understanding of Queensland civil infrastructure delivery environments
* Experience working within DTMR or similar transport infrastructure projects highly regarded
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously and within project teams
* White Card and relevant civil construction qualifications/tickets
* Current Queensland Driver Licence
This role would suit a proactive Supervisor who is comfortable stepping into live delivery environments and driving outcomes from mobilisation through to delivery.
