National Account Manager Role
As a key member of our business, you will play a critical role in managing relationships with retail partners to drive mutual growth and success. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, your primary focus will be on ensuring that these partnerships are optimized to meet their full potential.
1. You will develop and maintain strong connections with retail partners, leveraging your excellent communication and negotiation skills to achieve exceptional results.
2. In collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will create and implement strategic plans for promotions, forecasting, and in-store execution. This will involve analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing targeted strategies to capitalize on them.
3. Your analytical expertise will be essential in utilizing sell-in and POS data to generate actionable insights that drive category growth. You will work closely with the Product and Demand Planning teams to align market insights with business strategies, ensuring that our products are always aligned with customer needs and preferences.
4. You will also manage the entire process from ranging decisions to retail sell-through, providing expert guidance and support to ensure seamless execution.
5. Your innovative approach and creative thinking will be invaluable in generating new ideas and recommendations to enhance category management. This may involve collaborating with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing changes that drive positive outcomes.
6. You will be responsible for developing and presenting insightful reports supporting financial forecasts and business decisions. Your ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner will be essential in ensuring that all stakeholders are well-informed and able to make data-driven decisions.
About You
* We are looking for candidates with proven experience as a National Account Manager, demonstrating a track record of growth and strong retail relationships.
* A background in managing multiple brands or categories within a premium consumer goods company, with knowledge of the Australian and NZ retail markets, is highly desirable.
* Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerBI, and excellent relationship-building and presentation skills are essential for this role.
* You should have energy and confidence in managing multiple priorities, with a strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business or Marketing would be highly beneficial.
