The key purpose of this role is to provide risk and compliance guidance, support, monitoring, reporting and facilitation to the Finance & Advice Function to achieve a well-managed environment.
What you'll do:
Support operationalisation of policies, frameworks, and standards, ensuring a consistent application across teams enabling Finance & Advice to make better business decisions.
Facilitate profile annual reviews and dynamic risk assessments applying the ROCSA Standard.
Work directly with the business to support incident and breach identification, management, and remediation activities.
Contribute to risk and compliance activities that allows Finance & Advice to strengthen capability and culture.
Assist in the identification of control weakness and work with the business to strengthen the control environment.
Liaise with Finance & Advice teams to execute control testing activities to completion in IRIIS (IBM Open Pages).
Ensure IRIIS (IBM Open Pages) modules for risks, obligations, controls, incidents, breaches, models, impact assessments and reporting is accurately reflected for Finance & Advice.
Operationalise Risk Compliance Impact Assessment (RCIA), Delivery Risk and Delivered Risk Assessments (DRA), Momentum ways of working, Momentum Risk Management Standard for the Finance & Advice program portfolio.
Provide support to meet governance requirements across varying Finance & Advice activities that includes business resilience, supplier risk management, program portfolio, learning allocations i.e., cloud governance, data governance, SAP Ariba, Program Portfolio Management (PPM) etc.
Complete ad-hoc work as required to support the delivery of Finance & Advice strategic objectives.
What you'll bring:
University level qualification in related field – Desired
3+ years' experience in financial services with a strong focus on risk, compliance, governance and/or control assurance
Strong stakeholder skills, including co-ordination of key programs of work
Understanding of Suncorp Policies, Frameworks and Standards with respect to Control Assurance, Risk and Compliance Obligations
Understand regulation and legislation related to the Financial Services industry
Ability to maintain complete confidentiality
