About the Role | Key responsibilities
You'll be photographing students and staff across WA, from individual portraits to whole-school groups. On any given day, you might:
* Capture a variety of school portraits and group photos.
* Liaise with school staff to ensure photo days run smoothly.
* Help students look their best – from fixing ties to taming flyaway hair.
* Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in both photography and admin tasks.
* Travel regionally, sometimes with overnight stays (all expenses covered).
* Assist with production and office work on non-photography days.
About You
You're positive, reliable, and take pride in your work. You notice the little details – a crooked collar, a button not done up, and you can make students feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. You enjoy travelling, meeting new people, and making photo day a highlight for every school you visit.
What We're Looking For
* Confidence and the ability to connect with children – these are skills that can't be taught, and they're essential to this role.
* Proven photography skills are highly regarded, but if you're not yet a trained photographer, we will teach you.
* Great communication with kids, parents, and school staff.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to a schedule.
* Current WA Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
* Basic computer skills.
* Must have the physical ability to perform the duties of the role, including lifting, carrying, and moving photography equipment.
* Early-riser mindset – some days start early
