About the role As Property Leasing Specialist, you will work closely with the Senior Manager – Property & Leasing to support the organisation’s retail property accommodation growth strategy. Key responsibilities include sourcing new retail and commercial office sites, negotiating leases with beneficial incentives and cost effective rents, overseeing fit outs, ensuring financial feasibility, and finalising lease documentation. You will also assist in coordinating store or office closures, relocations, making good of existing premises, lease administration, rent and outgoing payments, and negotiating maintenance responsibilities with landlords. Success in this role requires strong collaboration with all internal stakeholders who include Retail and Commercial Operations as well as our facilities maintenance partners. About you Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret complex or conflicting information and apply sound judgment in situations with limited guidelines Previous experience in Commercial/Retail Property Leasing and/or Property Management Sound market knowledge of the Australian national retail and office locations Understanding of the Retail Leases Act in all states of Australia Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management and collaborate with diverse Australian Red Cross stakeholders Ability to set priorities, plan and organise your own work and deliver accurately to predetermined deadlines An Australian Driver's License is a mandatory requirement for this role Benefits that act for you, while you act for humanityFinancial wellbeing: In addition to your salary, you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay - and get more from your salary.
