We have an exciting opportunity for a HR/Payroll Assistant to join our HR team in Mulgrave, VIC The grade of this role will be dependent on the experience of the right candidate (Assistant or Officer) Your job role includes: Human Resource Management • Efficiently complete daily HR functions in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Aid in the end-to-end recruitment process, including talent selection, induction, onboarding, and training of new employees. • Update and formulate new job descriptions to align with evolving organizational needs. • Assist overseeing processes and workflows for HRIS systems and implement changes as necessary • Assist in the implementation of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) measures. • Administer Workcover claims and contribute to the development of return-to-work plans. • Contribute to the quarterly newsletter through content creation. • Participate in the planning of company events. • Conduct research to develop, update, and review policies. Ensure compliance with current legislation. Payroll • Learn and handle multinational payroll activities (at least half of the working time). • Provide assistance to payroll for Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan, and the UK where needed. • Help facilitate the implementation and coordination of HRM software programs. • Create, maintain and manage employee files. • Assist with the formulation of the relevant job descriptions of relevant positions. • Conduct research on policies and guidelines with reference to industries and market practices. To be successful you will need: • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is highly regarded. • 1 years of experience in HR-related roles. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel. • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and compliance. • Fluency in English. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Experience in processing Human Resources Manager System. • Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic and diverse work environment.
