THE POSITION
* Maintain a visible, proactive presence to promote a calm, safe hospital environment.
* Use professional judgment and situational awareness to respond to incidents.
* De-escalate challenging situations with a respectful, people-focused approach.
* Conduct regular patrols and follow established safety protocols.
THE PERSON
* Have experience in security, emergency response, defence, or law enforcement.
* Are confident, resilient, and able to communicate clearly under pressure.
* Hold relevant security qualifications and a valid Private Security Individual Licence.
* National Police Check.
* Working with Children Check.
* First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
