LV MECHANICS / DIESEL MECHANICS / FITTERS- LOCAL/DIDO/FIFO
BDS Mechanical Repairs AUS Pty Ltd is looking for skilled LV Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, and Diesel Fitters to join our expanding team. We offer both full time and casual positions, with a variety of Local, DIDO, and FIFO opportunities. Enjoy flexible rosters designed to fit your lifestyle.

We provide professional mechanical, auto-electrical, and welding repairs, available both in-house and on-site. With 22 fully equipped workshops across Queensland and a fleet of more than 160 field service units, we support operations over an area of 600,000 km² throughout Queensland and Western Australia. Your duties will include:
- Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
- General Repairs/maintenance works – LVs/4x4s, Trucks & Trailers
- Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
- Earthmoving and mobile plant experience a bonus
- Checking vehicle lighting systems
- Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
- Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
The successful candidates will possess the following:
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Valid license
- Diagnostic experience
- Good communication skills
- Strong fault finding skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Extra skills, experience, tickets and licences will be advantageous
