About the Role
We are seeking a permanent Mechanical Trade qualified Fitter to join the team based at Wagga Wagga, with travel to surrounding sites as required. This role operates on a Tuesday to Friday work pattern, offering an attractive work life balance while maintaining full‐time employment.
In this hands‐on role, you'll be responsible for a wide range of mechanical servicing, maintenance, installations, and upgrades across fixed and mobile plant and equipment. You'll also have opportunities to assist with site shutdowns and participate in planned maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
* Fault finding and repairs across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
* Responding to equipment failures and breakdowns as they may occur
* Preparing and submitting maintenance reports as required
* Accurate record keeping using our SAP Maintenance platform for compliance
Qualifications and Experience
Our ideal candidate has a relevant trade certificate in mechanical, fitting and turning, boiler making or similar, and proven fault‐finding capabilities. You should be proactive, safety focused, computer literate, self‐motivated, reliable, and possess solid time‐management and communication skills. Ability to work at heights and within confined spaces is required. Preferred qualifications include a truck licence.

Proof of working rights, suitable professional referees, and a pre‐employment medical are required for successful candidates.
