Responsibilities
- Work in all areas of the kitchen (Restaurant, Banquets, Breakfast, Room service).
- Prepare in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service.
- Stay up to date with current food trends.
- Actively build product knowledge to upsell products and provide One Step Ahead service to guests.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and colleagues alike.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety, Hygiene and HACCP standards.
- Cooperate and partner with management in the implementation of workplace health, safety and wellbeing initiatives.
- Follow kitchen and hotel policies, procedures and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Working rights in Australia.
- Commercial Cookery Certificate III or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience in a hotel, banquets or restaurant.
- Previous experience with HACCP processes and procedures.
- Robust teamwork skills, self‑development focus and drive for results.
- High energy level and passion for customer service.
