Responsibilities
* Work in all areas of the kitchen (Restaurant, Banquets, Breakfast, Room service).
* Prepare in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service.
* Stay up to date with current food trends.
* Actively build product knowledge to upsell products and provide One Step Ahead service to guests.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and colleagues alike.
* Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety, Hygiene and HACCP standards.
* Cooperate and partner with management in the implementation of workplace health, safety and wellbeing initiatives.
* Follow kitchen and hotel policies, procedures and brand standards.
Qualifications
* Working rights in Australia.
* Commercial Cookery Certificate III or related field.
* Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience in a hotel, banquets or restaurant.
* Previous experience with HACCP processes and procedures.
* Strong teamwork skills, self‐development focus and drive for results.
* High energy level and passion for customer service.
