The Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to lead operations at the Lake Burrendong Sport and Recreation Centre.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading and supporting a dedicated team of cleaners with a hands-on approach
* Overseeing day and possible weekend service delivery, ensuring high standards at all times
* Acting as the 'face of Quayclean' in your venue and maintaining strong relationships with client and staff
* Preparation of monthly rosters and day to day timesheets management in a proactive manner
· Stepping in to perform hands-on cleaning and able to train new/additional staff
· Completing and supervising deep-cleaning tasks: carpets, floor polishing, glass cleaning, etc.
* Conducting quality control inspections, audits, and documentation
* Monitoring and managing inventory: consumables, equipment, and cleaning supplies
* Delivering Toolbox Talks and safety briefings to the team
* Overseeing the training of new staff
* Maintaining high standards of Work Health and Safety (WHS) and compliance at all times
What You'll Bring
* Proven supervisory experience in the commercial or education school cleaning sector
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
* Confidence in using technology for reporting and auditing
* A passion for people and performance
* Current Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
* A valid driver's license
* A commitment to leading by example
