Solace is a growing construction and advisory group delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and technically challenging building works across South East Queensland. With a strong pipeline of D&C and refurbishment projects, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to drive on-site delivery and uphold our standards of precision, safety, and client care.
The Role
You will oversee the full spectrum of site operations for building projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with program commitments. This position suits a hands‑on leader who excels in coordination, stakeholder engagement, and maintaining a high‑quality site environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead day‑to‑day site operations, subcontractor coordination, and sequencing of works
* Uphold and enforce WHS, environmental, and quality standards aligned with our ISO‑certified systems
* Monitor progress against program, identify constraints, and work closely with the Project Manager to maintain schedule
* Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, inspections, and compliance checks
* Manage site records, daily diaries, delivery logs, and quality documentation
* Foster positive relationships with clients, consultants, and delivery partners
* Support the business in implementing modern building practices and maintaining strong site culture
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor in residential or commercial building
* Strong understanding of building codes, safety legislation, and modern construction methodologies
* Confident in supervising subcontractors and coordinating trades to meet program requirements
* Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently while remaining aligned with broader project objectives
* QBCC licences or relevant tickets valued but not essential
