The Role
You will be managing projects across the retail and QSR channels from concept through to launch. You will be required to be on site 5 days a week but there is flexibility with start and finish times. Your responsibilities would include the following:
* Oversee project activities to ensure that all projects are delivered on time
* Stakeholder management across internal departments e.g. brand, sales, finance and production ensuring cross-functional team input into all aspects of the innovation projects
* Deliver clear communication on all aspects of the project
* Support sales, marketing and production team with project implementation
* Ensure all new product briefs are scoped and gate ready for monthly approval through the gate stage process
* Weekly status reporting on all projects
* Support the team for all innovation-related activities
* Maintain innovation systems and processes
* Identify and recommend continuous improvement to the innovation process and ways of working
* Input into innovation pipelines across all categories
About You
* Love Project management – ability to demonstrate planning and organisational agility in managing multiple projects, understanding timelines for NPD development and the stage gate process.
* Ability to work independently and in a team and manage own workload with effective prioritisation, decision making and problem-solving skills.
* Confident communicator – clear and constructive in verbal and written communication.
* Strong stakeholders management and influencing skills
* Love variety and you have been described as a self-starter, reliable, passionate and energetic.
* You may be working for a global food business with no local NPD and want to start experiencing a 360-degree brand marketing process
* Currently an Assistant Brand or Product Manager, or New Product Development Manager with the desire to further develop your FMCG Food career. Gain experience in the NPD project management space!
* Must have 1-2 years FMCG Food experience to be considered
* Tertiary qualification in a related discipline
