About the role
The Mater Mothers' Hospital Administration Team has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Business Support Officer to join their team.
This is a permanent, full time position, working 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
* Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to Managers and Directors, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing correspondence. Assist other areas of the hospital administration team as required
* Workforce Support: Assist with admin tasks related to workforce management such as rostering, recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff members
* Data Management: Maintain accurate records and databases related to workforce and departmental activities
* Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular reports on workforce metrics and departmental performance
* Event Coordination: Organize and coordinate events, meetings, and training sessions
* Customer Service: Serve as a point of contact for staff and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing information as needed
* Project Assistance: admin support to Managers and Directors in the planning and execution of departmental projects
* Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
About you
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Professional demeanour and strong interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
* Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
