Behaviour Support Practitioner Role
We are seeking a dynamic Behaviour Support Practitioner to work with occupational therapists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists, and psychologists across clinics, homes, and schools.
About the Position
* You will assist NDIS participants, families, and carers to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
* Evaluate, develop, and deliver evidence-based support plans within a complex support environment.
* Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework, eliminating restrictive practices in home and community settings.
* Ensure individual plans reflect participants' goals, passions, and strengths.
* Build knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those who support participants – family, carers, friends, etc.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners.
