We are partnering with a well-established construction services provider on a highly confidential search for an experienced Project Manager with a strong building trade background (ideally carpentry).
This role will see you managing a live portfolio of projects typically ranging from $50k–$500k, delivering larger jobs concurrently while managing smaller works to maintain a target of approximately $200k per month in delivered value.
You will work closely with clients, often across undocumented or semi-documented scopes, with a strong focus on compliance (including building permits). A structured buddy system and live projects are ready for handover to support your onboarding and success.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage minor building works projects from award through to completion
* Oversee safety, quality, programme, and cost performance
* Prepare and manage quotes, contracts, claims, and forecasts
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with building permits and regulatory requirements
* Maintain accurate project data and reporting in job management systems
* Conduct site inspections and proactively manage risks and non-conformances
* Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
About You:
* Trade-qualified in Carpentry, Joinery, or related building trade
* Proven experience delivering minor works or small construction projects
* Strong commercial acumen across admin, claims, forecasting, and contracts
* Comfortable working across semi-documented scopes and compliance-heavy projects
* Highly organised with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* White Card, Police Clearance, and valid driver's licence
