Sustainable Energy Development develops, de risks and coordinates the delivery of electricity sector policies, strategies and projects to secure economic efficiency, strengthen electricity market design and create industry certainty.
As Executive Director Projects, you will provide executive leadership and strategic direction to a project team which focusses on promoting, facilitating, developing and delivering sustainable Northern Territory energy projects. These projects secure the Northern Territory's electricity priorities of a secure and reliable electricity system, delivered at lowest sustainable cost. You will be accountable for planning, coordinating and delivering complex projects; managing risk; achieving on time and on budget outcomes; and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and regulatory approvals.
This senior role requires a highly capable leader with demonstrated success in delivering large scale, high value and technically complex projects. You will provide authoritative advice to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Chief Executive Officer, Ministers and Government senior executives, and play a critical role in supporting the NT Government's electricity sector reform priorities.
You will be part of a collaborative, high performing division that supports the Territory's economic development and longterm transition to secure, reliable and sustainable energy supply.
