About the role
Reporting to the Operations & Business Development Manager, you will coordinate drivers, plan fleet maintenance in accordance with the Asset Manager and operational demand, and optimise planning to keep our customers happy and uphold Law Transport’s commitment to excellence.

This is a full-time permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Report to the Business Manager and support day-to-day logistics and transport operations
* Coordinate transport schedules to ensure on-time deliveries and efficient routes
* Manage shipments, track inventory, and oversee warehouse and transport activities
* Ensure all operations follow company policies, safety rules, and transport regulations
* Provide admin support, including data entry and maintaining accurate records
* Prepare monthly reports on transport performance and scheduling
* Communicate with suppliers and transport vendors to keep things running smoothly
* Maintain important documents like trip plans, delivery schedules, and compliance records
* Suggest improvements to make scheduling and operations more efficient
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
Skills and experience:
* Experience: Proven success in a transport scheduling or logistics administration role, with a focus on managing transportation schedules, coordinating loads including backloads, and ensuring compliance.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), with experience in logistics or transport scheduling software.
* Logistics Knowledge: A solid understanding of logistics operations, transport scheduling, and administrative processes.
* Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy and time management skills in managing schedules, transport bookings, and documentation.
* Professionalism: Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and adherence to regulatory compliance.
* Team Spirit: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working collaboratively across the business.
* Adaptability: A positive mindset and ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
