* Base Salary Range: $71,217 - $106,330 p.a
* In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).

Site and Service:

Allied and Community Health Service

Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary teams who work together towards the common goal of improving health outcomes of our community members. Services are based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, with regular outreach clinics held in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Maree and Leigh Creek. We offer a wide range of centre-based, in-home and community-based services to people of all ages and tailor our services to best meet our client needs. About the Role:

As a Child Health & Development Physiotherapist (AHP1/AHP2), you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of physiotherapy services tailored to the needs of children and families within the local community. Working as part of a multi-professional Child Health & Development Team, you will collaborate with health professionals and service providers across sectors to support optimal child health outcomes using preventative, early intervention, treatment and evaluation approaches.

At the AHP1 level, you will work under the supervision of the Regional Clinical Senior Physiotherapist, developing your clinical skills while delivering high-quality, family-centred care. At the AHP2 level, you will apply your growing clinical expertise with reduced clinical direction, contributing to service planning and evaluation and supporting the supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, assistants and students. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, strengthen your paediatric practice, and support positive developmental outcomes for children in the community.

About You:

AHP1

* Must hold a recognised qualification within the Physiotherapy profession and be eligible for full membership of the relevant allied health Professional Association. For those disciplines requiring Registration, all requirements to maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self-regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional associations accredited continuous professional development program.
* Provide a range of established clinical services using well-defined methods, procedures and standard.
* Exercise professional judgement within prescribed guidelines, with support from a Clinical Senior.
* Deliver straightforward clinical services, including one-on-one, group and health promotion activities.
* Manage and prioritise personal workload effectively.

AHP2

* Must hold a recognised qualification within the relevant Allied Health profession, and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association. For those professions requiring Registration, all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self-regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional association accredited continuing professional development program.
* Apply professional expertise to develop generalist or specialist knowledge, clinical competence and experience in increasingly complex practice.
* Exercise professional judgement in selecting and adapting established methods, procedures and techniques.
* Provide a broad range of clinical and consultative services across diverse settings, including one-on-one, group and health promotion activities.
* Manage and prioritise personal workload and support others with workload planning and team resource allocation.
