The Technology and Information Management (TAIM) team maintains Comcare’s Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) infrastructure and provides strategic leadership, governance, solutions, and advice for the effective management of information.
The ICT Business Engagement (TBE) Team is the link between the ICT technical areas and Comcare’s business areas, providing business analyst support to projects, application development and enhancements, and business improvement initiatives.
Overview of the Role
The ICT Business Analysts (BA) role works independently to support and contribute to significant technology changes to Comcare’s ICT and digital capabilities and deliver components of the ICT and Digital Strategy 2028.
The ICT BA role may work on multiple complex ICT projects (in application, infrastructure, or cyber space), as well as smaller initiatives involving application enhancements and other business improvement initiatives that align to strategic priorities. This includes eliciting requirements for business initiatives, conducting stakeholder interviews, developing strong collaborative relationships with technical and business stakeholders, and developing project plans, business requirement reports, functional and non-functional requirements, guidance / training materials, and system certifications.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
* Formal ICT or Business Analytics qualifications and / or Project Management qualifications.
Eligibility and Specific Conditions of Employment
* Character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check).
* Employee Health Declaration.
* Six months probationary period for new engagements.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
