The Role
We are accepting applications for Online Tutors with a specialist background in academic Project Supervision to support the online BSc Professional Accountancy programme. Applicants should have extensive experience in higher education and distance learning and should be able to undertake assessment duties similar to those outlined in the role description.
As an Online Tutor, your tasks include proactive support to students via the Virtual Learning Environment; marking summative assessments and providing detailed feedback. Each Online Tutor will be supported by a Module Leader and Programme Director and will work closely with the Programme Manager.

Module Specification
Required: Provide academic support for the Project Module (60 credits). This module will involve identifying an issue, conducting guided in-depth individual research and communicating findings. You will support students through research methods and methodologies relevant to the accounting field to produce their final independent research project. Salary
£4,055 flat fee for a group of approximately 20 students on the Project module. Assessment marking is paid separately with the fee for first marking of final submission at £40 per coursework assignment.
Candidate Profile
You will be a motivated individual who enjoys working with students and who is driven to support students to achieve success in their studies. You will have experience working in a Higher Education Institution and have an accounting and a related qualification at Postgraduate level.
