About the Role
As our Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day‐to‐day operation of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Greeting patients and providing exceptional customer service
* Managing appointment bookings, recalls, and scheduling
* Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries
* Processing payments and managing accounts
* Coordinating treatment plans and appointments with clinicians
* Maintaining accurate patient records
* Managing emails and administrative correspondence
* Supporting the clinical team with general administrative tasks
* Ensuring the reception area is professional and welcoming
About You
* Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and time‐management abilities
* A professional and friendly manner
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* The ability to multitask in a busy environment
* Strong computer skills and experience with dental practice software
* A proactive and positive approach to work
* Experience with dental software such as Dental4Windows, Oasis, or similar
* Knowledge of private health fund claiming and Medicare processing
* Experience coordinating treatment plans and patient scheduling
* Chairside assisting experience (not essential)
