About the Role
The Mechanical Systems Specialist is a key member of our team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of onboard mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing routine maintenance and repairs to mechanical systems
* Inspecting and testing equipment to identify potential issues
* Measuring and analyzing data to optimize system performance
* Completing tasks within specified time frames and to quality standards
Requirements:
* Trade Qualification: Fitter & Turner, Machinist, Diesel Fitter (Heavy), or Mechanical Fitter
* Marine experience with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
* Experience in marine refit/repair or heavy industry with ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
* Ability to perform high-risk work safely and effectively
* Proficiency with standard tools and equipment related to the trade
* White Card, First Aid, and EWP certifications
* Experience in Heavy Industrial, Marine, or Ship repair sectors
