We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to increase our presence in the gas markets by liaising with existing and new customers, as well as identifying new product/service opportunities for us.

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Developing and implementing a business growth strategy to expand our market share in the gas industry.
2. Liaising with existing and new customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
3. Identifying new product/service opportunities and developing strategies to capture these.
4. Building relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
5. Reporting to the Board on progress against key performance indicators.

Requirements:
">
* Sound knowledge of relevant Australian Gas acts, regulations, standards, and international codes.
* Sound knowledge in gas systems and components and their applications.
* Appropriate academic background given the level of the position.
* Demonstrable sales and business development experience in the gas market or a comparable relevant market.
* Ability to source and respond to tenders.
* Ability to identify growth areas and to obtain opportunities within these growth areas.
* Cost estimating, procurement sales, and commercial acumen.
* Ability to bring the team along with you on new initiatives.
