The Opportunity
We’re seeking a female Support Worker (participant request for privacy/personal care) to support a young person in Rosebud to rebuild a calm, consistent morning routine and get to school (local secondary school in the area). Immediate start during holidays prior to Term 4 commencement.
Schedule
Frequency: Weekly (Term time)
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Start: 7:00 AM
Finish: When school begins (~9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Transition: 2–3 trial shifts during the mid-term break to help establish routine
What you’ll do
Gentle wake prompts, self-care support, breakfast and bag check
Encourage independence and on-time school attendance
Transport to school when required (using your insured vehicle)
Quick shift notes via app (brief, dot-points)
Must-haves
NDIS Worker Screening Check (WSC)
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)
Current driver’s licence + registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance
Smartphone for rosters/notes
Immediate availability
Preferred
Experience working with teens (e.g., anxiety, school avoidance, autism/ADHD, ID)
Calm, reliable, strengths-based communication
Love of sport

Pay: $40.00 – $46.00 per hour
Expected hours: 9 – 30 per week
