Job Description:
The role of Clinical Nurse is to support the increase in workforce capacity to implement ARF and RHD strategies that are culturally responsive, evidence-based and sustainable. This position will embed standardised processes for ARF/RHD management including staff training, prevention activities, clinical care and care coordination of people living with RhD.
* Experience in clinical care coordination and patient education
* Knowledge of ARF and RHD management and treatment protocols
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Cultural competence and understanding of Aboriginal health disadvantage

About the Role:
This position is one of three Clinical Nurse roles led by a RhD Program Coordinator within the Public Health Division. The successful candidate will be working closely with other health professionals to develop and implement programs to improve the health outcomes for Aboriginal people.
