About the role
Due to growth we are seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer and a Senior Civil Design Engineer who has worked in a similar Engineering Consultancy role.
You will report to the Civil Group Leader and be guided and mentored for your own career development. The Civil Group Leader is well regarded in the industry but more importantly a great people person and mentor.
As Senior Civil Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work towards becoming the Civil Team Leader in the Sydney office.
There is a hands‐on element to the Senior Civil Engineer position but we could accommodate a Senior Civil Engineer interested in project management, team management and overseeing projects as opposed to being a hands‐on technical design engineer.
As Intermediate Civil Engineer you will contribute to a range of projects in NSW and interstate.
You will work on a range of projects:
* Roads
* Stormwater management
* Flood analysis & reporting
* Residential / Land development
* Civil inspections
* Retaining walls & pavements
Essential skills that you will require for this role are
* Ideally a minimum of 5 years of experience working within Civil Design Engineering for the Senior Civil Engineer
* Ideally a minimum of 3 years of experience working within Civil Design Engineering for the Intermediate Civil Design Engineer
* Experience gained designing and managing projects with minimal supervision
* Undertaking regular coordination and interface with key clients and stakeholders
* Must have experience with MUSIC and DRAINS, experience gained working with Civil 3D will be highly beneficial
* Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially report writing
* Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards
