Opportunity:
We are looking for a motivated Trades Assistant to support our skilled tradespeople at our Mackay Workshop. Based in a busy fast-paced environment, you’ll work closely with our maintenance and fabrication teams to help keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting tradespeople with tools, materials, and job set up.
* General workshop duties, cleaning, organising, and basic maintenance.
* Loading and unloading equipment and parts.
* Running errands and collecting supplies.
* Following all safety procedures and supporting a clean, safe work environment.
Candidate Profile
* A positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
* Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
* Basic mechanical aptitude or experience in a similar role.
* Strong work ethic and reliability. Able to work independently.
* Driver’s license (C-class, manual) essential.
* Forklift ticket (Essential).
