About the Role

As a Technical Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) laboratory, conducting complex drug assays to assist in the monitoring of patient therapies. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate test records, ensuring the availability and proper maintenance of reagents and consumables, and helping ensure the smooth operation of the laboratory. Your work will directly contribute to improving the quality of patient care and service delivery.

In addition to routine tasks, you will also have the opportunity to participate in research and development activities aimed at enhancing clinical practices and patient outcomes. Working closely with a collaborative team, you will utilise your expertise to drive innovation, optimise processes, and support the overall objectives of the TDM laboratory. About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong scientific or technical background along with a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a team-based environment. Your technical expertise, combined with your ability to maintain safety and cleanliness in the laboratory, will be key to success in this role.

* Tertiary qualification in a relevant scientific or technical field
* Experience in a pathology laboratory environment, with familiarity in lab systems
* Strong manual dexterity, analytical chemistry skills, attention to detail, and a clean and tidy work ethic
* Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively, while implementing safety protocols
