This position involves collaborating with the Head of Marketing to execute PR and media initiatives across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring top-of-mind brand awareness and driving earned media coverage.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Develop and maintain strong press and public relations to maximize earned coverage and brand exposure.
2. Manage the PR sample showroom with support from junior colleagues.
3. Facilitate the delivery of press releases to the media industry via professional networks.
4. Maintain and deliver monthly PR clipping reports to the central team.
5. Build and maintain relationships with journalists, PR agencies, stylists, and local influencers, keeping the brand top of mind for our target audience.
6. Implement local strategies on social media channels.
7. Stay informed about our core consumer groups and ensure personal awareness.
8. Manage outreach activations.
9. Organize internal and external events.
10. Support the PR internship program.
11. Develop and measure media plans.
12. Liaise with the media agency regularly to ensure brand compliance, spend efficiency, innovation, and optimum brand positioning to achieve sales targets.
13. Prepare briefings and trafficking of media artwork/creative for ATL campaigns.
14. Monitor the media landscape through BPMS and provide suggestions to adjust spending based on platform efficacy.
15. Act as the primary point of contact for the media agency for day-to-day collaboration.
16. Raise purchase orders for planned media in a timely manner.
