Our team is seeking a talented Building Automation Systems Specialist to join our crew. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting building automation systems across various commercial spaces.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintenance, service repairs, engineering, delivery, and commissioning of building automation systems.
* Identify opportunities for system optimization and enhancements.
* Work with a skilled team of technicians to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Identify hazards and safety issues.
* Provide detailed information for quotes.
* Liaise with work coordinators and management.
* Deliver exceptional customer service to clients.
* Identify opportunities for potential repairs, upgrade works, refurbishments, and new business.
For this position, we require:
* A full Electrical or Restricted Disconnect/Reconnect License.
* Niagara Certification and a thorough understanding of building automation systems software - Niagara (AX and N4).
* Experience with Distech, Honeywell WEBS or Easy IO, software will be highly regarded.
* Hands-on experience as a HVAC technician will also be highly regarded.
* Current OHS/WHS Construction induction card and Current Driver's license.
* Strong technology knowledge, fault finding and decision-making skills.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, professional attitude, and great personal presentation.
* Curiosity - someone who enjoys autonomy as well as working within a team, and a proactive self-starter.
* Confidence in quoting small works.
* Demonstrated ability to project manage minor works.
* Proven ability to achieve targets while maintaining focus on quality and safety.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Capability to develop and maintain client relationships.
