FIFO Hood Cleaning Technician Supervisor
* WA Mining Sites (FIFO from Perth)
* 2:1 or 8:6 FIFO (flexible based on site needs)
* Full-Time ongoing
As a FIFO Hood Cleaning Supervisor within the DELTA FM Team you will lead a small team of technicians responsible for cleaning and maintaining kitchen exhaust systems (range hoods, ducts, filters, and fans) across multiple remote mining sites. This leadership role ensures fire safety, hygiene compliance, and operational efficiency.
THE POSITION
* Supervise and coordinate hood/exhaust cleaning activities across multiple sites.
* Lead and mentor technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards.
* Plan and manage cleaning schedules with site kitchen and FM teams.
* Conduct quality inspections and audits on completed work.
* Ensure compliance with AS 1851, NFPA 96, and site-specific safety protocols.
* Manage inventory of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and PPE.
* Complete and review job documentation, including compliance checklists and photographic evidence.
* Report on team performance, site issues, and compliance outcomes to management.
* Travel between remote sites as required.
* FIFO from Perth.
THE PERSON
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Previous supervisory experience in commercial kitchen or industrial cleaning (hood/exhaust cleaning preferred).
* Strong knowledge of fire safety and hygiene standards.
* Mandatory Certifications:
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Confined Space Entry & Working at Heights
* Valid WA Driver's Licence
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and police clearance.
* IKECA or similar certification (desirable but not essential).
