Ropston Pty Ltd is a construction company based in Newcastle, undertaking works in both the private and public sector.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform general labour tasks such as site clean-up, material handling, and assisting builders and qualified carpenters.
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Load and unload materials and equipment.
Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
Other duties as required by site supervisors such as collecting materials from local suppliers.
Requirements:
White Card (Construction Induction Card) required.
Police Check valid within the last 5 years is required.
Prior experience in construction or a labouring role is preferred but not essential.
Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
Reliable transport to and from job sites.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
