Reporting to the Operations Manager Port Adelaide and Kadina, you will be a key contributor to a small, efficient team with a strong focus on customers, safety and productivity.
To be considered for this position you will need to have the following competencies:
· Demonstrated ability to anticipate, accurately identify and resolve maintenance issues.
· Hold a trade being but not limited to fitter, boilermaker or electrician.
· Basic but demonstrated safe rigging ability.
· Proven strong safety management and safety compliance background.
· An energetic, results-oriented self-starter with a personal drive to make things happen.
· Demonstrated ability to prioritise, manage competing tasks, plan work, and operate effectively under pressure.
· Hold a current Driver's licence, fork-lift licence and front-end loader ticket or willingness to obtain.
· Demonstrate sound literacy and numeracy skills to be able to learn and operate (with training) relevant job specific technology ie. operational equipment, production quantity/quality and other related systems in control rooms; business systems (Microsoft Office, HRIS, Access Micropay, learning management system (LMS).
· Ability to work effectively both unsupervised and as a member of a team.
· Well-developed interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with fellow employees and contractors.
· Ability to coach and train suitably skilled Operators to perform basic to intermediate maintenance activities.
· Demonstrated commitment to quality service and relevant standards.
· Willing to work flexible hours, including occasional shift work due to the seasonal requirements.
· Two to five years minimum experience in an operational supervisory role

Experience in bulk handling industries and/or lean manufacturing environments will be an advantage but is not essential. You will be rewarded with a remuneration package commensurate with your skills and experience.
