Administrative Support Role
This full-time, permanent position offers a high level of responsibility and autonomy, providing administrative support to senior executives in the Infrastructure and Operations Division.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality administrative assistance to senior executives, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
* Coordinate agendas, take minutes for meetings, and maintain accurate records.
* Assist in preparing key corporate documents, reports, and presentations.
* Ensure efficient electronic filing and document retrieval in the council's records management system.
* Support planning and coordination of infrastructure projects, tracking progress and deadlines.
* Organize meetings, site visits, and conferences, utilizing effective communication and organizational skills.
* Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all matters.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in local government or a related field is advantageous.
* Certificate in Business Administration or a related field.
* Proven track record of supporting senior executives, demonstrating exceptional organizational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Windows-based systems, web technologies, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong record-keeping skills and attention to detail.
* Familiarity with relevant legislation, particularly the Local Government Act.
