Join our team as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a Defence project related to risk-based decision making for skin decontamination in emergency response incidents.
Dermal exposure is an important secondary route of exposure for toxic chemicals, particularly for unprotected public and emergency hospital departments in the case of a release incident. It is essential to understand the level at which the skin can provide a protective barrier against absorption and understand the kinetics of penetration for chemicals of concern.
This research will provide experimental data for evidence-based decision making by first responders and operational risk assessment regarding skin decontamination. The findings will contribute to the development of strategies for dermal exposure to chemicals.
