At Yooralla, we invite you to embark on a journey where you can truly make a positive impact as a member of our High Intensity Outside School Hours Team working in a specialist school setting. You will work collaboratively with fellow educators, the OSHC team, children and parents to foster positive relationships in the community and create meaningful and engaging experiences to support children's learning, engagement and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
You will work Monday to Friday, providing after‐school care from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and vacation care from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Your role involves supporting children and young people with disabilities to achieve their life goals, upholding quality and safeguards in everyday work, and contributing to a supportive and inclusive environment.
Qualifications
* Experience in the OSHC/early education or disability services sector.
* Qualifications or be actively working towards a certification in alignment with the Victorian ACECQA National Quality Framework (desirable).
* Willingness to be committed to empowering children/young people to reach their goals, and to upholding quality and safeguards in your everyday work.
* Effective communication skills, and good English literacy to communicate well with our clients.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.
* Willingness to support children/young people with personal care activities.
* Willingness to obtain First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates if you don't already have one.
* Child Protection Training / Mandatory Reporting.
* Completed or willingness to complete IncludeED@OSHC learning frameworks/modules.
