Job Description We are seeking a talented and passionate Demi Chef De Partie - Pastry to join our culinary team in the vibrant city of İstanbul, Turkey. As a key member of our pastry department, you will assist in creating delectable desserts and pastries that delight our guests and showcase your creativity and skill.Prepare a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and quality standardsAssist the Pastry Chef in developing new dessert menu items and seasonal specialtiesEnsure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all timesManage your station efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organizationCollaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations and timely serviceMonitor and maintain adequate inventory of pastry ingredients and suppliesTrain and mentor junior pastry staff membersContribute to menu planning and cost control effortsAdapt recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies when necessaryParticipate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with a focus on pastryCulinary degree or diploma specializing in pastry preferredDemonstrated proficiency in various pastry preparation techniques and baking skillsStrong knowledge of desserts, pastries, and baked goodsAbility to follow recipes accurately and create new onesExcellent knife skills and food presentation abilitiesUp-to-date food safety certificationThorough understanding of food safety and hygiene practicesFamiliarity with Turkish and international pastry techniques and flavorsStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentCreativity and passion for pastry artsFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
