Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) – Ngamai Wilam Residential Eating Disorder Program

* Permanent, Part-time or Full-time (0.8 EFT / 64 Hours or 1 EFT / 80 Hours + ADO)
* Permanent Night Duty positions available
* Based in Armadale
* Salary Package: $91k - $112k + Superannuation

About Us

Ngamai Wilam is a newly built 12-bed residential eating disorder treatment facility in Armadale, opening in May 2025. Funded by the Australian Federal and Victorian Governments, it is managed by Alfred Health. The facility provides 24/7 trauma-informed, recovery-focused care for adults aged 18 and over in a gender-inclusive, home-like environment, emphasizing family and support systems for long-term recovery.


About the Role

As an ANUM, you will:

* Provide clinical leadership in a dynamic environment
* Lead clinical handovers with transparent, strengths-based communication
* Champion recovery-oriented practices
* Work with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, evidence-informed support


About You

* Registered Nurse with AHPRA
* Postgraduate qualifications in mental health nursing
* Experience in mental health settings and residential care
* Experience with dialogical practice and eating disorders
* Australian working rights, Victorian Driver’s License, Working with Children Check, and Background Check
