Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our team. This role involves delivering therapeutic support and psychological assessments to make a positive impact in the lives of young people.
This position requires evidence-based practice, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Therapeutic Support: Provide individualised therapy to children and adolescents using modalities such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness, or play-based approaches.
2. Psychological Assessments: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments (e.g. cognitive, educational, behavioural) and prepare clear, strengths-focused reports.
3. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other providers to support shared goals and continuity of care.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* Fully registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
* Experience working therapeutically with children, adolescents, and families.
* Proficiency in psychological assessments (e.g. WISC-V, WPPSI-IV, WIAT-III).
* Neurodiversity-affirming, inclusive clinical approach.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
