Your next career opportunity

As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to the creation of a national stem cell resource, ensuring ethical governance of stem cell lines across Australia. You'll have the opportunity to support effective communication between research institutions and funders, manage project operations, and liaise with patient‐advocacy groups. Your role will be pivotal in designing digital platforms that foster engagement among donors, researchers, and consumers of stem cell products. Requests for the appointment to be part‐time will be considered. Candidates with lived experience with rare diseases are encouraged to apply with flexible working arrangements available.

What you will deliver

* Coordinating Project Operations: Manage shared team materials, organise files, track activities, and facilitate team communication.
* Developing Communication Strategies: Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and enhance external communication through web and social media.
* Supporting Financial Administration: Assist with project budgets, liaise with finance teams, and ensure timely reporting to funders.
* Upholding Compliance Standards: Adhere to University policies and ensure project activities meet ethical and safety standards.

You may be a great fit if

You will have a relevant graduate degree and experience in coordinating project operations within a research environment, possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

You may also

* Possess a relevant degree in health, law or ethics
* Have experience in coordinating project operations and managing documentation.
* Demonstrate skills in event logistics and financial administration.
* Exhibit excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
* Be interested in interdisciplinary and translational research.
