Position Overview
As a Community Care Occupational Therapist, you will join our growing Allied Health Stream and play a pivotal role in supporting clients to participate in meaningful daily activities and achieve greater independence. We seek an outstanding individual who embodies exceptional teamwork, communication, proactivity, empathy, adaptability, flexibility, and attention to detail to join our close-knit and supportive team where your contributions truly make a difference.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality Occupational Therapy services including comprehensive functional assessments, goal-oriented intervention planning, and implementation of evidence-based therapeutic strategies.
Support clients to improve independence in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
Assess, prescribe, and facilitate the provision of appropriate assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications.
Develop clear, holistic OT-focused care plans and progress reports in line with service standards and clinical guidelines.
Educate and collaborate with clients, carers, and staff on strategies to promote safety, functional capacity, and participation in meaningful activities.
Manage and prioritise your caseload autonomously while maintaining meticulous documentation and effective communication.
Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in Community Care Occupational Therapy.
Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist with a deep commitment to delivering compassionate, client-centred care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication, teamwork, proactivity, empathy, and attention to detail.
No weekend work, flexible hours, and the option for a 9-day fortnight (full-time) or flexible part-time arrangements.

Skills and Qualifications
Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
Minimum one year of experience as an OT, ideally in Community Care or another autonomous practice environment.
National Police Certificate or the ability to obtain one.
Current Australian driver's licence and own vehicle.
