They are known for their commitment to excellence in delivering tailored support solutions.Job DescriptionIn this dynamic role, you'll lead the delivery of exceptional client services while managing core people functions across the business.
Your ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders will be key to your success.
You'll guide operational excellence and employee engagement with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.Champion a high-performance culture by nurturing positive relationships across employees, contractors, and clients.Lead the design and implementation of people policies and processes including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and HR systems.Act as a trusted advisor to management, employees, and clients (including barristers), offering expert guidance on people-related matters.Manage employment contracts and oversee the full employee lifecycle in collaboration with the General Manager of Client Services and Finance.Review and refine remuneration structures, incentive programs, and performance management systems to align with business goals.Drive strategic workforce planning, recruitment, supplier engagement, and agency partnerships.Build strong connections with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.Support financial planning and practice support recovery through effective budget oversight.The Successful ApplicantA Successful Client Services Manager Should HaveProven experience in a client services or people management role within professional services.Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a client-focused approach.Familiarity with secretarial and business support processes.A proactive and results-oriented mindset.Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.What's on OfferOpportunity to lead and grow a high-performing team in Melbourne.Work within a well-established professional services organisation.Collaborative and supportive workplace culture.Career development opportunities in secretarial and business support.If you are an experienced Client Services Manager looking to make an impact in the professional services industry, this is your chance to shine.
