Full-time Landscape Gardener position available in Osborne Park WA 6017 PAVEWA is currently seeking a skilled and passionate Landscape Gardener to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities: Designing and creating landscape plans, including planting schemes, hardscape elements, and irrigation systems. Selecting and sourcing plants, trees, and materials to enhance outdoor environments while considering factors such as soil type, climate, and client preferences. Installing and maintaining landscape features, including lawns, flower beds, shrubs, trees, pathways, and retaining walls, to ensure their health and vitality. Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and machinery, such as mowers, trimmers, and chainsaws, in a safe and efficient manner. Implementing sustainable gardening practices, such as composting, water conservation, and integrated pest management, to minimize environmental impact. Collaborating with clients, landscape architects, and other stakeholders to develop and refine project designs and specifications. Providing advice and recommendations to clients on plant selection, garden maintenance, and ongoing care to promote long-term sustainability. Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality landscaping services on schedule and within budget. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others. Continuously updating knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities and staying informed about industry trends and best practices. Qualifications and Experience: Relevant qualification Proven experience of minimum 1-2 years as a Landscape Gardener or similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in landscape design software and familiarity with CAD programs is desirable. Excellent plant identification and horticultural knowledge, with an understanding of soil science and plant care principles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
